Hamilton is brilliant! The film is so exciting to watch I cannot begin to fathom how thrilling it must’ve been for those who saw live on Broadway. Lin-Manuel Miranda is exceptional. Tiri gbosa for this bundle of talent!

The beautiful thing about a break-up, whether good or bad, is that it challenges you to open your eyes to new hobbies so you can heal faster. That happens to be Harley's dilemma when 'Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn' opens. What a title! Trying to make a name for herself post her break-up with The Joker, Harley unwittingly puts a target on her back, and opens herself to new kinds of drama she'd never had thought to contend with before. Her actions catch the attention of Roman Sionis, aka Black Mask, the latest deranged individual who intends to rule Gotham. Like Renee Montoya says, "Harley obviously didn't think her actions through." BoP (as I'd like to refer to that lengthy title) is one helluva fun movie! It continues in the thread o the new DC live-action properties, a line its predecessors -Shazam, Aquaman, Legends of Tomorrow, etc.- have toed in varying degrees. Does it work for it? Yes, it does. There's definitely no way a serious Harley Quinn' would be taken serious by fans. Could it have been better? Yes, by a wide margin! More polishing and fine turning here and there definitely would've made it a better movie. Character development is haphazardly done and back stories are muddled up for the sake of adding twists to the timeline, which, honestly, wasn't surprising. The reason for banding the girls together is so bland, I found myself rolling my eyes multiple times as I could smell the end game a mile away. Yet, even with these messes and less time developing our other birds as much as Harley, BoP still entertains. Ewan McGregor loses himself as Black Mask and is mostly cool to watch, but, as expected, it's Margot Robbie who carries the most of the film. She definitely was born to play Harley Quinn. If there's ever a sequel, I'd like to see more of Canary, Renee, and Huntress. Mostly, a better backstory for the first two.  Follow on IG @RinzyReviews. Movie gist, unlimited.

Who'd have thought a movie about strippers juxtaposed with the Financial crisis of 2008 would be a hit? I went into 'Hustlers' with little expectations and came out with my mind blown. That's how you do a movie! A beautiful story with awesome pacing laced with Jennifer Lopez's still banging body and talent harmonizing with Constance Wu's, Keke Palmer's, and, shockingly, Cardi B's. The latter is in it for a few minutes, but her dildo-boyfriend joke awill remain a staple in my head for a long time to come.

At its core, 'Dolemite is my name' is a story about resilience. One of those movies that reiterate the age-old lesson that you can be anything you want to be, as long as you put your mind to it. Eddie Murphy isn't a living legend for nothing, he still got the charm. Rudy Ray Moore (aka Dolemite) won't be remembered as one of his most iconic roles but it won't be forgotten that easily either.

I enjoyed watching 'King Of Boys'. It's ambitious and fun, everything we ever wanted from Nollywood. But it's long too. It also sacrifices meaning for the shock-factor in many places, meaning it had a lot of work to do with the script to be truly great. But it's hopeful and shows what Nollywood can still be. For me, that's a win.

Whenever I think about 'The Shawshank Redemption' I recall deep lessons learned about true friendship and redemption. This movie will live forever.

To put it mildly, The Hustle is forgettable, and does a huge disservice to some of its more talented supporting cast with that poor script. It's the kind of movie you see and wonder, why was this made in the first place? Mostly because its leads are unfunny and a chore to watch.

At this point in the franchise, a John Wick entry can almost do no wrong. Keanu Reeves is living his best life yet, on screen; best to follow in silence to see where it's all headed - the drama at the continental.

'Spider-Man: Far From Home' rides high off everything we know and love about the MCU. There are a few missed, but, as expected, the glitz and glamor of an MCU-entry makes Mysterio's illusion and Iron Man's farewell more believable.

'Money Heist' is exhilarating. Very few shows triumphantly achieve what this one does to your blood pressure. It is suspense personified.
