The low light cinematography and special effects are 5 stars but a key point that really matters in a period drama is “originality” which is surprisingly poor (1 star) with ideas borrowed from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Braveheart and Troy (and probably other films too). Have paused amazon.prime for the final 1 hour and may watch after the current Xmas & NY hols end. Unlike the above mentioned films, it will be challenging though to remember all these characters (2 stars) with their very limited presence and/or dialogues and the bland scenes in what ought to have been a film with an impactful period drama.
