I came in with high hopes. I was so pumped for rings of power. then i saw the trailers and then i was like no no no no.. but i kept telling myself just because the trailer looks like a weird German ripoff from Tolkien's work. and then the the first two episodes came out. i was organising for a week to have perfect few hours with this gem. THEN I STARTED TO WATCH AND I WAS PISSED!!! for one those harfoots.. sucked they took single character traits that hobbitts had and then said yeah these are 3 dimensional characters... see this one doesnt follows the rules thats a character right.. and the acting was subpar... in particular garladreil or however you spell her name.. she had blank expressions and her line delivery was good awlful.. also elron played by young ned... was mediocre the ginger dwarf was pretty bad.. and the elephant in the room the diverse cast.. i mean i was expecting that.. because studios believe that is the way to apease the masses.. so its nots brave it just a safe move.. and nothing more. now i visuals are spectactular.... some of the shots are a spectical to behold... but the fight scenes so far are pretty micheal bay constant cutting so we dont have time to really enjoy each swing of the sword or when this troll which by the way looks amazing.. they cut so we cant revel in this fight... after hearing the dialogue and overall writing its very unlilkey we will have a good story or decent characters to root for.. but i really do hope im proven wrong and it was just a terrible launch and the other episodes are great... sorry about spelling i have dislexia ... but if you havent seen house of the dragon you should do so it lives up to the hype
