The Wheel of Time is one of my favorite stories. I've read the books at least 4 times and I'm currently reading them again. It seem that I find some new detail that I missed before. I was extremely excited about the TV adaptation coming to Amazon. During the first episode, I probably had more dialog than the whole cast combined! There was very little in the show that followed the books' story line. Very important parts, like Rand seeing a Fade on the road to Edmonds Field with Tam, were left out. As of episode 6, plot development and character progression doesn't exist and new plot twists have been introduced, like the Moiraine and Siuan relationship. Maybe the show was meant for an audience that has never read the books. So far, I'm a little disappointed. The only similarities between the books and the show are the names of the characters. I will try as hard as I can to enjoy this version.
