The individuals in charge of creating this dumpster fire could not have possibly taken a larger dump on what was a large part of mine and so many others’ childhood nostalgia. Yes, I’m aware it’s non-canon. Yes I’m aware it’s an alternate origin story for Chief…but so many creative liberties have been taken that it is barely recognizable as Halo. The only reason I gave one star is because I had to. Some commentary from others who have seen this show: “This show was literally created in response to someone saying ‘Tell me you know nothing of Halo without telling me you know nothing of Halo’.” “Watching this series should be a requirement for tier 1 special forces going through interrogation training; if you can survive this series you can survive anything.” “I wish to god Halo was real so the Covenant would activate it and this galaxy would be cleansed of this series.” If you hold any endearment for the OG Halo universe, spare yourself from watching this if it’s not too late.
