How could they mess it up so badly? The only thing they got right really was the boss battles and graphics, but the game has none of the charm of a Lego game. Maybe I'm missing something in translation, but it almost seems like the game wants you to rush through story mode, where you can hardly collect anything due to other classes needed. The levels are completely forgettable, tedious, and boring. They basically sacrificed what a Lego Star Wars game is supposed to be in favor of vast, yet empty open worlds, where, like I said, you can't seemingly accomplish anything without unlocking more classes. Normally, you'd play through Story Mode, collect what you could, and then end the level, unlock free play, purchase some characters, and go back in once you get all the characters required to complete the level. That doesn't seem to be the case in this rendition: Not only are the Episodes one big sprawling storyline each, but it took me a good long while to figure our how and where to buy characters. I've only done 2 Episodes thus far and am immensely regretful of my purchase, will likely sell this next time I'm in the position to do so. The Complete Saga is leagues above this POSG in terms of playability and fun, and that's pretty sad considering how much work they put into this game. I cannot advise the purchase of this game to anyone, I would give 0 Stars if I could.
