Really enjoyed this, along with his other books. Very insightful and frank..It's a shame we don't have more people like Rory Stewart in the world of politics, but as he states..that's exactly the sort of people our current govermenetal system absolutley does not want. They want nodding dogs not people being proactive and actually getting stuck in with local people, or people looking at the bigger picture and not just the election cycle.

It seems a lot of people hate this film...I personally found it captivating. The way it is filmed and edited, the story and soundtrack were wonderfully done. As someone from a rural area in Dorset, it really does reflect the feelings a lot of us have about having to leave your hometown due to holiday makers, house prices and luxuary homes popping up everywhere. It may come across as a little obnoxious to those who don't care and just want a nice holiday, but it hit the nail on the head for me.

A programme which encourages the worst behaviour and attitude whilst making the housing market an even worse place for those who have been saving for years to try and buy their own property...Makes me angry that there are plenty of programmes like this, helping people who already have plenty of money, yet there is NOTHING on which helps those struggling to get even the most modest footing on the housing ladder.
