Carol Fletcher

Apart from the shooting (not a spoiler. It happens almost immediately). This seemed to be mostly a drama about a getting the kids to school. Too many side plots which were irelevant. The people trafficking piece was net even a good red herring as we already know 'who-dunnit' But also too many disjointed flashbacks which were never really concluded satisfactorily. Disappointing, as I normally like Charlene McKenna. There will almost inevitably be a second series - but I won't be watching

Watching this I considered if the costume and make-up teams wondered why they bothered! Well done everybody else for comenting on how much the plot veered from the book. I would just like to have been able to see what the flippin' 'eck was happening!

Have to say, this may be an interesting interpretation if only we could see what the hell was going on!
