I appreciated the effort and self-reflection that went into the making of this film. It is made by Jewish individuals and gives an honest look on what it is like to grow up Jewish outside of Israel and the many ways in which they are directed to think a certain way about Israel with almost no regard or mention of the Palestinians and their experiences. It has made me better understand that Israel plays a huge role in brainwashing and manipulating the mentality of Jews growing up in the West - and for them to break away from that and relearn what it really means to be Jewish outside of just an obsessive dedication to Israel - is not only a difficult identity crisis but also makes them a target for hate in their own communities.
