On a stand alone base I thought the Winx Saga was fun and intriguing. Although as an adaptation of the Winx Club cartoon I feel this series was poorly executed. From the character archetypes to the setting of the story, it has gone through drastic changes. Bloom and Stella were ment to be friends right off the bat as it was Stella who originally found and brought Bloom to Alfea. Another thing is that although the Burned Ones are a cool add in they were not apart of the original plot there were also 3 different schools which were Alfea- for the fairies, Cloud Tower- school for witches, and Redfountain- boy specialist school. So all in all I like the Winx Saga but it is a poor adaptation of the original series.
