I want to thank The Last Word for the profiles compiled on the victims of the supermarket shooting in Boulder, CO. We have become somewhat numb to the impact of these senseless killings and rarely put much thought into who the victims are and the impact of their deaths. The broadcast Tuesday evening (3/23) did a wonderful job of telling us who the victims are and made them real, relatable people rather than just a tragic number as part of a tragic story. Well done!
Thanks again. Other programs should learn to follow your fine example on how to cover what's important in a tragic story.
