Absolutely profound..... & lovely

It was so fun..... sizzled with personality, absolutely beautiful couple, the longing & kisses were electric . I was impressed how a back story unfolded that was deeply moving and yet you could have such fun comic moments.

I watched this ...seeing that it was on Lee Min Ho best dramas ....I would say his acting was enjoyable to watch. Park Shin Hye was a sweet, kind person but those kiss scenes ...she always looked forced and awkward to see her expressions...actually unpleasant to watch....so I really don't quite see what the chemistry people are saying they had. The pettiness of the characters were alittle hard to take in. Kim Woo Bin was believable...his acting was good.

I resisted watching Mr Sunshine & not quite sure what to expect...even watching the 1st episode I didn't think I could handle the agonizing storyline of brutality. As I'm drawn into the narrative of this historical genre & weaving of multiple complex character development I found myself deeply moved. I loved the deliberate pacing that made you pay attention to detail whether it be a simple gesture or grand scheme. It opens a window to another world paying attention to cultural sensibilities. Subtly of a slight brush of silk hem upon the back of a hand to express longing of a man in love. Sweeping panoramic views of landscapes with the small scale of lovers within it. The defining effort of a ragtag army holding their handprints on a flag charging into a certain death. This masterpiece has made me want to know more about Korea @ the turn of the century. The film made a deep resonating and lingering effect on me.

I loved loved loved being in love ....these two were soooooooooooo sweet and it was so fun.....wonderful to enjoy the playfulness and joy of being in love .....oh to laugh and smile. I haven't seen pure fun in so long...where I could fall in love with them. The comic timing was great fun too.....a much needed refuge from the world right now......of course I'm not focused on the sad parts.

Absolutely a joy..... it has heart ,comic timing,sweet couple...love the villagers...such a pearl ..drama,its smart,humor,love,excitement .martial arts all interplay..finally you can have a well told story,drama that doesn't drown you in sorrow. You can go away lighthearted & smiling.....absolutely a hidden pearl for these terrible times the world is facing with covid. I found refuge in this wonderful film.experience....oh those funny expressions...the Prince stoic..deadpan look adds to the humor, leave you chuckling,brings back my childhood watching martial art movies like the one armed swordsman battling entire island of baddies with one arm. Of course the romance that makes you believe in love. I watch it over & over to get away from the world. Its hilarious,it makes you cry,fall in love ... its just beautiful ....asian sensibilities & reserve.......from the bamboo forest to the royal courts and of course our Prince & his lady.
