this book is amazing. as a transgender person it describes many of my experiences perfectly, with incredible grace and nuance. while some scenes are sexually explicit, this book is definitely appropriate for ages 13+, and most certainly should not be banned in high schools. kobabe's memoir could be a big help for trans teenagers and young adults struggling with dysphoria and puberty.
