Well. like many others I'm a big fan of cooking shows. This one, what a disappointment. The 'challenges' are lackluster, the judges trying to hype what can only be described as mediocre home chefs, even the professional chefs don't do anything creative, breadded chicken tenders with red potatos,,WOW, that's some next-level culinary creativity! There's absolutely nothing interesting about it. I tried to like it, I really did, but if the dishes lack anything resembling creativity. The judges lack any reason to get excited or even angry.. I felt sorry for chef Blais trying to get hyped about some boring dish, just to try to make the show 'pop'. The whole show is absolutely 'sleepy-town' boring.
