While this series was very informative, there were occasions where the claims made by the historians held no evidence. One in particular where at about 1:14:03 where one in particular started to try and make the point that white supremacy caused black men to become more effeminate. This claim felt very homophobic and had no other evidence other than her stating that “some black pediatricians” reported “epidemic levels” of homosexual black males. Otherwise I think this documentary brought many important points to light.
