So, I started this book being someone who likes sci-fi. I borrowed it from a friend cuz I’ve been hearing a lot about it on tik tok. I thought it would’ve been overhyped and cliche. I was so wrong. This story really made me experience the tourment that can come with an abusive relationship. I felt pity for Ryle and I wanted them to be together despite him not being able to control himself. The author leaves you feeling everything Lily feels throughout the story. It’s a very easy book to understand and the writing style was great, it was fast paced and it didn’t leave you much time to get bored. I didn’t like Atlas very much though. I felt he didn’t have many flaws, if any. He was just a perfect ideal guy. Same for Ryle. I know he has trouble managing his anger, but I still felt like he wasn’t developed enough. I think it’s a great book to read and I wish I could read it for the first time again. I can’t listen to a love song without thinking of this book. I 100% recommend.
