Sooo boring. Younger kids thought it was too violent. Once again, female characters are simply there to support the male, fight-driven storyline. Terrible screenplay. The bad guys steal the prize baby Gru about 45 minutes into the film, and not long after he returns to Gru. *slow clap* The formerly awesome Kristin Wiig spy mom becomes a hairdressser for a few minutes. Their kids are completely dismissed by Gru when he comes home from grocery shopping because he wants to see his boy, and the girls are largely uninvolved in the plot despite lengthy text about their new "B" names and burned hair lady chasing them through - you guessed it - the grocery store. 🙄
