Dyson Haaland

This was one of the most devastating and beautiful books I've ever read and will probably ever read! I enjoyed the story thoroughly and can connect to Ocean so much deeper in this story also being a Queer, person of color and having an immigrant mother, all while trying to find my own space to fill up in this isolating place we call the United States. It is a story about familial love and romantic love, having both sides of the same coin and destroying the illusions of their perfection. I love Ocean Vuong's poems and wrings and I can't wait for more!
