PS-1 What a story! I have not read the book. I think nobody else could have done justice to this story other than Maniratnam. With Bhahubali as a benchmark for historical movies, Maniratnam has differentiated himself with focus on direction, and just enough graphics,done really well. A R Rahman music couldn’t appreciate the songs when listening on Spotify but with the plot and choreography and visuals look stunning and apt. Background score with Drums Shivmani magic was amazing. Aishwarya Rai looked scary in the poster but she has been pictured so nicely and Trisha has done so well. Vikram as usual has done a phenomenal work. Jayaram and Karthi were phenomenal and I don’t think any other actor could have played their role, brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Must watch! I really wish this becomes the biggest grosser more than Bahubali, for Kalki and Maniratnam sake!!! What an amazing story!!
