Alisa Nesterova

A great book about the dark side of capitalism, about the desire of life, about racism (towards the citizens of the same country), about industrialization… I feel that Steinbeck had a very forward view on how people started to separate with the earth and only now we see where it bring us and understand that there’s a need to step back. In this book you will know how and why it all started. I also loved the descriptions of nature, usually they annoy me but here it’s a true poetry!
