Not every movie can have you sitting on the edge of the seat with the occasional bang bang from gunfire. This movie is a definite, slow burn. You have to read into the story and immerse yourself in where this girl grew up with her limited knowledge of what was outside. It’s sad to say That even in this day and age, we still have a tendency of treating people who are different the way the town treated her.
