Dear Friends ! Watched Movie ‘Vanvaas’ at Koraput : Vanvaas is a Hindi movie starring Nana Patekar in lead role . While reading the reviews of the movie before going to watch in the Cinema , I had expectations more than what I found it to be . It’s a good family movie dealing with an issue of diminishing quality of care for old parents by family members and especially if the parents pose problems like a child with the growing age . However the entire film has a story that could be finished in 1 Hr. if would have been a Hollywood cinema . The film had an hidden agenda to promote tourism in Himachal Pradesh and the Ganga Ghat of Varnasi in UP for which the story and events were stretched beyond the need . Script lacked adequate strength at different points . Question over Nana Patekar remembering slokas and technical knowledge to rescue a person in natural disaster while not being able to recall only the name of his village was unanswered . Overall it was a good attempt to promote tourism in the laps of a social issue . No serious fights . Good Songs . Good Locations . Good Acting . Regards , Santakar , Koraput , Odisha
