Based on a true story which makes it shocking and not to be belittled but personally I found the acting extremely lame and annoying. Regretted that I had started to watch it but had to see it until the end.

No spoilers. I am a 100% fan, The Sopranos is the best series I have watched (twice). Unlike other reviews on here, I thought the prequel was excellent in that it did not focus on a young Tony Soprano as the main story, which would have been the safe but predictable storyline. What it did was gave an understanding of the previous dynamics of the group and how Tony Soprano became top dog. I thought it was very cleverly produced, a great story and the fact it wasn’t about what people expected was genius and brave.
