Could have been 20-30 minutes longer. Listen it’s been what 36 years between the two films! It feels like it was just made within the same decade as the original. There were some things with the overall plot that either could have been discarded or better developed with an added runtime perhaps, but overall it felt like 1988 again and I just experienced Beetlejuice all over for the first time. Can’t wait to see it again and own it so I can see every little detail in each scene. Always something funny or hidden in the background of Beetlejuice.
