One of those movies that show history without distortion.

This is a movie that has suffered the same destiny that Detective Byomkesh Bakshi did. People were not expecting that it will need some brain, and everything will not be served on platter like Dhawan movies. But, this movie, not being seen by Indians is a hundred times worse than DBB. That was still a movie aimed at entertainment only. This was more than entertainment (not that it lacked any). This was needed. This is necessary. Why India has been more India in Bihar or Maharashtra or Delhi? I felt proud to be an Indian being brought up in a privileged home in Bihar/ Jharkhand. Why did I not feel that why everyone else doesn't think so? Why do I still not think, what I need to do, to make this happen? When do we start? That is what the movie is about, among many other things. Jeetega Kaun? Hindustan? When do people sit and talk their issues out? When does it become necessary to pick up a gun and fire a bullet? What do we do to avoid that?

Why does this movie has only 5.5 rating? This was a smartly crafted movie that kept its pace and never for any length of time boring. It is a perfect movie to watch on a weekend. Skillful direction, worthy script and beautiful execution.

It's one of the great movies that I've seen recently. I regret not having watched it in cinemas in Ranchi. Konkana Sen has delivered a timeless masterpiece.
