Cheesy, in a word -especially the last episode, and maybe a small excess of artistic license. But great acting and very, very entertaining. It was hard to hold back tears at the end. The fabulousness of the fabulous Miss Patti Lupone could save the worst production. Here, it was the delicious icing on an already good cake.
