Was it fun? Was it cool? No. It was the Meg. A2 was very familiar because it was about ten movies we have already seen. Like chucking parts of justice league, Fern gully, Kong Island, Pirates of the Caribbean, wonder woman, Dora and more.into a blender.. just like the Meg! .. hardly anything original in it at all. And the idea that Aquaman changing diapers makes and cracking jokes brings it closer to Deadpool is just laughable. This movie was really trying hard to be something but it ended up just being a waste of time.

Spoilers alert... This film had all sorts of promise. And it could have been a better film. But it lacks one solid thing...a point. The fact that abused people carry their trauma all their lives is not new nor is it entertaining. That type of film is best described as trauma porn. Its not pretty and its also not horror. As to the ending, if the main character is delusional, it's a sad tale. However, If the film makers intended to sell you on the fact that a baby can live inside a man for 22 years after he eats it, become whole again and then be cut out and taken home by its mother.... then they are delusional amd sad. There are so many things wrong here you need a book to cover them. You will hear that people think its brave. Or a study in trauma and relaps. Or perhaps it's all just a metaphor for whatever.. what it is , is pointless and shocking for shock value. The acting aside, there is nothing here to see. To gain. Nothing of any value. Just something to talk about round the water cooler. And if that's our bench mark for a good film..we have a great deal more to worry about.

Pointless. A mess of a film. Suffering from both over produced effects and overly convoluted plot.

Well......there is some great action on the front end of this first episode. However, unlike so many others that seem to crave the insertion of so called " real world issues" into the fantasy world, I think that's a lot of that is just filler. The pace of this first offering is slow and by the end of it you almost forget the great opening. When you have time to wonder what the end of the episode is going to tease you with- you got a show that has not sucked you in! It's not that I am not interested in Sam's family or their problems but I do not need a long explanation about real world money problems....I'm familiar with those in my day to day. You can efficiently tell us that in under 3 minutes. Then get back to the actual story you are trying to tell us. It's not entertaining to have to wait too long and it only puts more pressure on your base storyline to deliver big. I'm surprised by all the 5 star reviews here. This was a slow 3 star start. I hope it will have more meat and less soy in the 5 episodes to come.... that was after the 1st. Episode...now? 3 in? It is awful. Slow, painful, contrived and rather pointless. I'm not sure what could save this but they don't have much time left. Only 3 shows remain in the season and a cliff hanger will not sit well for sure. Waiting too see

I gave it 5 stars because it's brave and honest and hard for these two MEN to admit this. The idea of MJ hanging out with boys and having sleep overs and traveling the world with different boys documented in photos plus having 2 different legal battles over sexual abuse only makes sense if he was a sexual predator!!! Else wise that kind of weird behaviors make no sense for an adult. It's well done amd explains how these two men, as children, where in love with MJ. They welcomed his attentions both normal.amd sexual and that is why they never told anyone until later in life when their worlds where plagued by issues from their childhood. Well worth the almost 4 hours. Does it change his music for me? No, but as a person....he was a loving but sick man.

Here is the problem with doing a "true crime style" show....you should know something about the law. This is the most stupid and insulting show ever about how the police and the law work. It is an absurd 9 episodes of contrived and ridiculous story line. The first 2 seasons were great, this one has no merit and is a boring mess that leave you wishing that you could get the 6 hours of your life back.

I am a big MCU fan and have enjoyed most of the small screen stuff too. However, im going to have to wait a bit here in Wanda Vision. I love the detail of the retro TV thing but it needs more than that. Giving us only 2 episodes to watch with hardly anything other then the Gag of it being old time tv is hard to take. I also, am not a fan of needing to read a particular run of comics to understand what's going on from the start. This was the downfall of the Star Wars mess. Too much "side -Canon" and not enough entertainment or recognizable storyline. Lastly, in a world where we get full seasons that end and mean something in all genres... feeding us small 26 minutes shows weekly and then leaving us hanging after 8 episodes until whenever? Is not going to fly. Its basically going to be 4plus hours for the whole season, not really enough time to tell a full story so be set for disappointment at the end. Milking the storyline is a thing of 90s network TV, not today's entertainment market. I hope I am wrong but this looks like another drag it out "mando" ride that will be too slow to be satisfying.

So, its about truth? Maybe it was because it was so accurately depicted 1984 but this was all too familiar. We start with a pointless and long flashback to tell us all that matters is truth. Then transition to a rehashed mash up of awkward geeky "seen it" Wiig combined with a magic lamp/bedazzled artifact that grants wishes but takes a high toll. For a 45 minute TV show, that weak plot device might cut it but not for a 2 plus hour major release. And then bring the boyfriend back cause the girl can't carry the whole film? With some heavy handed "sure he is here but is it Truth?" And throw in a little " Logan" losing power and you have a over acted, under imaged, uninspired mess of a film. I really liked the first one. It was a refreshing change from the drab DC film offerings. And while it would be easy and nice to say that compared with the other DCU sewage, WW84 is good...it would not be fair to you. The main cast was lost in weak writing and put in a workman like performance although they seemed at time to not understand what they were doing or why. Perhaps the high drama on set flowed over into the final product here. But even that excuse would not explain why they felt so compelled to wedge in some comic lore just for the sake of it. Like the half hearted attempt at the invisible plane. And so taking the lesson from the movies main theme. The truth is, I watched it on TV and it was a wildly expensive and highly produced - TV movie.

Sad. Each episode so far has the characters in it ending up in Colorado so there is no surprise about what we see in the flashbacks. It is taking a great story and wrecking it. Casting is poor and pace is weak and slow. It just not good. Could it get better? I'll watch a few more but really if they were counting on the first 2 episodes to hook people? It is not going to work.
