The critics who panned Cats do not know what they are writing about. Suspend reality. Suspend belief systems. It is pure fantasy. The acting, music, and dancing are first rate. It translated beautifully to the screen with superb settings, close ups, and performances. I followed the story line from beginning to end emotionally relating to Victoria. British audiences would probably appreciate it more than American. Cats is art. I will never forget this movie.
