As a Christian, I was really excited to watch this, but I finished the series feeling underwhelmed and conflicted. Showcasing all three perspectives of the Abrahamic religions could have made this show great, but instead the interviews were executed horribly and made the whole series underwhelming and confusing. In my opinion, the interviewees' analysis of God's character and actions in Egypt came off very lazy considering that they are supposed to be experts in religion. I've never minded creative liberty in religious films, but Netflix took it WAY too far. It was so many key moments in Moses' story that were changed to fit a personal and social agenda. The final straw was when the people who worshipped the golden calf were not killed. It was untrue to the original story and made absolutely no sense! Netflix missed the entire theme/meaning of Moses and Israel's story.
