Netflix excels in churning out series based on “hit” formulas but sometimes this approach just doesnt work. It seems as if they decided to mix a little bit of what worked for stranger things (children with zany determination to rid the world of evil) and threw in a couple of characters and called them sherlock and watson, because why not (anything which generates controversy and makes people talk about it is good). We still digest a lot of what is thrown out to us from this hit formula factory because everyone needs to kill some time in this pandemic. However this series was so inane and mindless that it made me go off netlix for a couple of weeks for which i’m thankful.
