If your expecting a review of “how good the graphics are” or “this is a film really opened to everyone” you’re not going to get it. This movie was made for “Five Nights at Freddy’s” fans who grew up playing the beloved game franchises and know all the lore. So my review is specifically for those who felt how I did watching this movie and reliving one of the best moments of my life.
“Five nights at Freddy’s” the beloved horror game that built who we are today has finally made it to the big screen not just showing an entertaining cinematic experience but reliving one of the best parts of my life. This move was not just for anyone and you can easily tell that this was made for “Five nights at Freddy’s” fans who have been there since the beginning.
From the moment the credits started rolling, I knew this was going to be exactly what I wanted. Seeing what I lived for come to life on the big screen made me feel like I had to be a part of it all once more and made me wish I could replay all the games for the first time again.
Yea sure the jump scares weren’t the best and the film was definitely rushed but the intended audience was not horror fans nor movie critics, this was made for “Five nights at Freddy’s” fans who know the lore by heart. And the thing I loved most is I knew exactly where it was all going from the beginning but it still kept me on my toes, ready for the next scene.
I was delighted how the film expanded the whole “Five nights at Freddy’s” world in a new way. With the basic lore with a new storyline. And as soon as I saw that “Freddy Fazbear pizzeria” sign I knew this was going to be just that.
In conclusion this was the move we have all been waiting for, for the longest time and even though this may be the end of the beloved game franchise I feel I can speak for all the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” fans when I say I feel at peace with how it all ended. Thank you Scott for everything that you’ve done to make this possible and the joy you’ve brought not just me but all the Fnaf fans.
