Nolans filming was dramatic & well done with great acting, But....It was unnecessarily long and drawn out. It focussed only on Oppenheimer's controversy over his security clearance removal & his changing & evolving ideology. It paid almost no attention to the science of the project, acting like that aspect simply didn't matter. Nolan filmed it as if he personally has no understanding and no interest in the science. The story he ended up by telling could have easily been done in half the time. I also saw this in an IMAX theatre which is how Nolan filmed it, but I saw no obvious reason for this format being used.
