When I saw Netflix was coming out with a movie I immediately went to buy the book & it was amazing. I loved the characters, plot, settings. Especially the plot twist. From beginning to end I was hooked. First of all, this movie is nothing like the books Lina was a sophomore & she met Ren when she was running up a hill. She originally lived with Howard because he was her father & not only that they lived in a cemetery. She didn’t even meet Francisca till the middle of the book & it was through a phone call. Ren & Lina instantly became best friends & they went everywhere her mom in her journals. & who is this Alessandro?!!? There is just so much more that this movie is completely wrong about. Honestly the only thing they got right from the books were names. Thanks for the rant.
