The idea of shadow people genuinely scares the life outta me, combined with the emerging science of brain analysis devices made this movie seem so intriguing. But by the time an hour had passed, the movie began to lose itself. It has no purpose by the time we reach the ending. Acting was average. There was so much potential here. Loved the synth wave music. Would not watch again :(

Ok my feelings during this movie were up and down. It’s not a horror movie, but its an interesting sci-fi experience. i initially wrote sci-fi thriller but its a little too slow to be a thriller. Maybe sci-fi slasher? Some may call it horror because of the excessive violence but ive seen much worse in video games. That being said, the ending is extremely disturbing and did show a particular type of scene i never thought i’d end up seeing (uncut version of course). I enjoyed the atmosphere. Cerebral at times, shocking during others. Luckily i’m a huge fan of cyberpunk themes and concepts, so i did enjoy this. This is a very niche movie. I watched the uncut version and overall i liked it and would watch it again with someone who is into these kinds of movies. Acting was excellent.

Terrifying and slightly relatable. The cycles of progress and destruction we experience, slowly driving us mad. There was one jump scare and it messed me up so bad i was hoping there’d be no more. I’m trying to watch another movie to get my mind off it but its not working lol

Potential with no purpose. Horrible script. Violent scenes almost make up for the terribly slow pace and often boring stretches of useless filler. Would not watch again or recommend. The Shining wannabe.
