The film strikes all the right chords and is a heartwarming and heartbreaking tale at the same time. It tells us to love the ones who truly love us. It tells us that love can happen even after marriage. It depicts Indian values and traditions in quite a great way. Bhansali makes sure he makes a film that can be watched forever and ever. Nandini's haveli will take your breath away and of course Aishwarya as Nandini is oh-so-perfectly casted. The songs are pleasing and the title track takes the cake. The direction,screenplay and editing are just perfect. Performances- Aishwarya is the absolute winner. She carries the film on her shoulders and makes her role iconic. She is pretty as a painting! Her performance is one of the reasons this is a must watch. Ajay does his role of a sacrificial husband exceptionally well. He is a complete firebrand and forms the crux of the story. Salman performs just about okay and displays too much energy which takes the seriousness of the film away. He could have performed better but he just excels in the climax. Overall review - The music is a really great album. The performances of Aishwarya and Ajay are phenomenal. The editing is tight enough. The script and direction are excellent. And most importantly, the film tugs at your heart!! Hence,this is a must watch. ❤SLB, hats off for bringing out a tale that will remain with us forever❤

High on point,this is Sanjay's tribute to Rajputs, their values and valour. The film establishes several things on a gleamingly grand fashion. It establishes that all those controversies are just stupid and pointless. It establishes that Sanjay is one of the best filmmakers of Indian Cinema. It establishes that when three incredible performers are combined with gripping situations, Bhansali's signature style extravagant sets backed with strong direction and an excellent script, Bhansali can weave out a story that can just sweep your feet off the floor, blow your minds away and can emerge as an all time classic!! It also establishes the fact that Deepika is the best Bollywood actress! Coming to technicalities, Bhansali hits it straight out of the boundaries! He never compromises and makes sure each and every single frame has it all-Grandiose, glamour, passion and most importantly that period feel! The costumes oh-my-god! They give you the feel that is exactly needed for such an epic film. The music is just brilliant and SLB makes sure he delivers an award winning album! Performances- Straight away, this saga completely belongs to Deepika Padukone. She plays her Rani Padmavati to perfection! You never get a thought that it is an actress playing the role of a queen. It is just a queen who values the honor of her family and her dignity on top of anything else - even her own precious life!! Ranveer is oh-so-perfectly-casted in a role that is crafted just for himself! He surrenders before Sanjay's vision. He plays his Alauddin Khilji to perfection. Whether it is showing off his chiseled torso or screaming with helpless anger, he is completely a director's actor. Shahid ends up being in the background but he is a hell of an actor when there is enough scope for performance. He brings a delightful coldness and elegance to the Rajput ruler role. The scene where Alauddin has to climb stairs to meet the divine Maharawal Ratan Singh is a highlight! Aditi Rao Hydari excels in a magnificent Mehrunnisa and all the others fit in their respective roles. The film drags in parts. But that royal walk of Deepika brimming with honor and valor takes away those oh-so-minute flaws! The climax is straight away, the best climax of any Bollywood film lately. Just wait and watch. Deepika will make you roar with pride in that climax. She is the best Bollywood actress and is no more that sweet-cute little heroine!! The high octane drama and action provide a charm to this visually stunning film. The music and costumes quite set the mood. The performances and the direction make it a must watch Hats off to Bhansali for once again bringing out a brilliant classic masterpiece! Just exquisitely valorious , pridefully beautiful and a must watch!

WOW is the word! Really... Wow! Some brilliant writing and mind blowing stuff make V a must watch. The thriller has an interesting style and an intriguing plot. The performances of the protagonists are excellent. The twists are the soul of this film. They keep you guessing all the way. The music is fine. The background score steals your heart. But most importantly, it is writing and cinematography and art direction that take the cake away! Performances : Nani is at his incredible best. He is the best of all in this film without any doubt. He steals the show with utter ease! Nivetha Thomas comes in next who performs her role of a crime writer perfectly. Next, comes Aditi Rao Hydari who makes the most of her limited screen presence and forms the crux of the story in quite an interesting way. Sudheer Babu comes in last for his depiction of a DCP. He performs quite okay but his dialogue delivery is not up to the mark. Tanikella Bharani Garu and all the others lend in the support needed performing exceptionally well. Technicalities : The film maintains a dark theme throughout and this perfectly gels with the plot and the screenplay. The songs are entertaining. The background score is the star of the show. But, it is the art direction that is the REAL WINNER! Verdict: Straight away, V is the best film released in any OTT platform in the quarantine. One must watch the film atleast for its stunningly clever climax...! Sakhi...What a film it is! Such a special heartwarming tale...! The writing,script,direction,screenplay,music and performances are just pitch perfect. Maniratnam brings out quite a new way of depicting a relationship. This film is a wakeup call to all the filmmakers who want to potray romance on-screen. Editing is gripping and tight. The direction is extraordinary. Writing is so original and sets the mood. The music is refreshing and award winning! The performances are so mature and exactly jel with the screenplay. But,above all this,it is cinematography that steals the show. Whether it is shooting the songs in breathtaking locales or displaying our lovely couple in their small sweet-cute homely home,PC Sreeram just takes away the cake!! Performances-R Madhavan delivers a kickass performance. He is just the right choice and his eyes are not at all young for the role! He makes us root for him throughout. We immediately get a soft corner on him even when he commits flaws. Shalini-She just burns the screen with her impeccable acting,incredible dialogue delivery and natural expressions. She brings a delightful sheen to her character and makes up for a sizzling pair aside Madhavan. She looks quite naturally pretty. She portrays her childish and mature characters easily. Jayasudha-She performs her role with such effortlessness! She is definitely the perfect casting and will make you laugh and cry along. This film is a break from the conviction. This is because it displays romance from the sides of both protagonists. And the film has such soul-soothing music that you instantly connect with and start singing. Above all this,the film portrays romance in an original way. You just feel as if you are looking into the life of a love-marriaged couple. The clashes between the couple are so damn originally displayed. Summing it up,this film is a must watch! Maniratnam has brought out a gem of a film. This one is a brilliant classic masterpiece!Just watch the film. Though the film is 20 years old,you will never feel that you are watching an old film. AR Rahman's music will make this flick your favourite!!

Ishhhh!!! What to speak about such a great Bollywood experience?? Just spellbound and speechless.... I am sure this is one of the so many best Bollywood films! So I am nowhere close enough to write the review of such a beautifully retold tale.....Anyways, here is my take Devdas is undoubtedly one of the best romances of Hindi Cinema. Beautifully retold, dramatically crafted, incredibly performed by Shah Rukh and impeccably directed by the very whole Sanjay Leela Bhansali.... Ishh!! What more could you ask for?? What is so special about our Bhansali's film is that he depicts emotions in such a dramatic way that you don't ever feel like turning your face away from the screen. Right from the very first frame, Bhansali makes sure you are glued to the screen. A mother rejoicing her son's homecoming-Ish! Such an incredible way of starting a film. And, if you are wondering why I am using this Ishhhhh so many times, you must watch the film..... The sets are extravagant. The costumes exactly set the pace and mood of the film. The screenplay is so tight that you will not feel the film to be long even at one moment! The music is just extraordinary. Shreya's honey soaked renditions provide a completely charmimg experience. The direction, of course, Sanjay deserves a hats-off! The writing brings all that Shayari alive which are the dire need of such a dramatic film and perfectly jels with the direction and screenplay. The choreography is top-notch and steals your heart away. But, above all this, it is cinematography that takes the cake away! Performances- Shah Rukh Khan delivers one of his finest performances. Aishwarya performs just about okay and excels in some portions. She looks a bit artificial which is not the right thing one looks out for. She is pretty. But the makeup could have been more original. The last sequence of the film shows one her acting prowess. Madhuri just excels as Chandramukhi and perfectly sets in her role. Her kathak learning helps her role and she outperforms Aishwarya in most of the sequences. Ish! If you have not watched the film yet, watch it right away. You will experience one of the best films of Hindi Cinema. Hats off Bhansali! Thanks for bringing out a masterpiece yet again!!
