Yeaaah, no. I kept going back to try and warch it, but ... couldn't do it. I really like the action and very much enjoy action/fantasy, but it was just ... meh.

This is a very good movie for what it is. It's also a movie I would never have gone to, had I know more about it. I understand that they were going for a somewhat sudden reveal (and that's part of what makes the film so good/bad). The whole thing with the accident and the aftermath, though, didn't take me where it probably was supposed to. At that point, all I saw was a kid who didn't get what he'd done. (I'm trying to obfuscate here.)
