The Six Triple Eight might be Tyler Perry's best work yet. Kerry Washington gave a commanding performance! All of the main female characters seemed to be handpicked by God Himself! This movie tells an outstanding story with stellar performances!

The Union unfortunately was an unpleasant hodgepdge of incohesive plots and twists that didn't make sense. In some of the scenes it looked like the actors were waiting to hear "action" to get moving. I expected more considering the cast but it fell far below my expectations.

Definitely not the best I've seen from John Travolta or Morgan Freeman. I don't think their roles fit them. Overall, it was a watchable movie and that's the best I can say about it.
