Knuckles has always been my favorite Sonic character, besides Big the Cat, so I was super duper hyped for this show! I got Paramount + just for this series alone, and I've been watching each episode over and over again. Especially episode 5, "The Shabbat Dinner", because it's my favorite one. My favorite scene in that episode was the one where those crooks who were going to capture Wade due to the bounty on his head were beat up by Knuckles and Wade's mom. The cinematography on that part of the episode was spot on! Very inspiring!
I saw that lots of people were complaining about Wade's screen time in the show. I don't really mind that because I understand the importance of a side character, especially one that's being taught valuable life lessons from the main character.
Wade was learning how to be strong throughout the episodes. He was learning how to believe in himself. He couldn't do that on his own. He couldn't do that without Knuckles' help. We had to see him grow and develop with his own independent screen time because Knuckles was teaching him how to be a warrior. We had to see his progress as an audience. That way when it came time for him to achieve victory, we could cheer for him. Although I do kind of understand why some people complained about Wade's screen time being more than Knuckles' screen time, I still appreciated Wade as an overall character.
Even side characters need love too!
Hearing the usage of the words "damn" and "hell" in the show repeatedly made me laugh! The human characters said it so much around Knuckles, I wouldn't be surprised if he started saying them too! 🤣 (And I do have a small theory that he might be 18 years old, especially since he was watching Pretty Woman with Wade's mom, which is a rated R movie)
10 out of 10, will continue to watch for the rest of my life! Love love love this show!! 😍
