I only watched a few episodes but acting / writing seemed off… In a fear of death moment ; breaking into unrealistic bonding moments… In a moment of dread ; smiling… Just didn’t do it for me even though the storyline could have held promise.

Bad sequel to a good first movie. This sequel (written by the same author, but directed by Ben Wheatley instead of Jon Turteltaub who did a fine job on the first)… seems a mishmash from the get go. The opening scene doesn’t really mesh in with the rest of the movie, and seems to have been recycled in there. Although there’s lots of action there’s not as strong a plot, some characters are too one dimensional (I am evil just because I am evil)… In whole I was very disappointed. If you feel like a good fish flick, just rewatch the original Meg, or Jaws, or even Santa Jaws 😅

I had never seen this movie when it came out back in the 80’s… Just watched it ; It’s lousy !!! Horrible acting, bad directing and script (what script??) it makes the Rocky Horror Show look like a 5 star movie when compared to this dud !!!

I simply love this show, I think this is Stallone’s best work !!! He’s great in the role, and the ambiance and charisma is outstanding and the whole thing just clics along at a great pace. The only negative is that Waltrip (played by Mr Coster) is driving me nuts; His accent keeps changing constantly, can he please make up his mind as to where the hell his character is supposed to be from ?!? Scottish / Irish / made up ?? 😅

This movie was great as far as acting, and filming. Where it looses it’s appeal is in the final editing. The story looses itself as the time frame continuously goes back and forth without the viewer being able to know where they are. Some sequences take 15 minutes before realizing you are re-seeing a previously viewed scene once again, but from someone else’s perspective. This confusion detracts from the story line. If this movie could be re-edited properly for a 2.0 remake, you could potentially have a really great movie. As is, I can only give it 2 stars.
