Honestly, the plot may seem cliche but it is very well written. Unlike Indian serials, it doesn’t drag neither are there any misunderstandings that are absurd. It’s enemies to lovers, more like unrequited love that later is satisfied. Yes shamsher is a bit of a psychopath but also has a soft spot for Mahek, he loves her but doesn’t know how to express it by looking at his upbringing it’s clear no one taught him how to. This kinda draws the audience into not knowing what to expect in the coming episodes coz although he loves mahek he’s not easily swayed when she irritates him or he finds her intolerable and acting stubborn at times. So far I love this drama and look forward to it every Wednesday. Not to mention the acting, danish is a really good actor and I’d like to emphasize on “really good”. He’s the type to portray a villainous character with that zealous charm, yet flatteringly evil outlook. I would ask him to step on me *respectfully*. Either way he brings out the unserious-ness of his character during serious situations where viewers would have to then laugh at his atrocities. I guess that strikes the balance to this drama in being a mix of drama, romance, and comedy in some aspects.
