Although this shows a dark chapter in American History it was a story to be told. Scorsese did a masterful job of recreating a true crime story. DeNiro and DiCaprio’s performance added to the authenticity of the characters involved. Although the movie is long it is very well done and as Scorsese said in the opening dialogue he felt it was a story to be told and it was very well done.
