Feel good but oh-so-emotional. I've been a fan of kdramas for a while now and I've seen this soul swap thing in another drama called 'The Dude in Me'. Same idea - gangster in a high school student's body. But this drama, 'High School Return of a Gangster' just hits different. From the start of the show, it captures the viewer's attention and doesn't let up throughout this short series. I'm so surprised that they did so much in such a short span. The ending was definitely a very surprising twist. SPOILERS AHEAD I was really hoping for both of them to be alive but I'm glad that Dwek Pal got to stay. He lived so much more with such a positive outlook. Everyone did such a great job, cinematographers, actors, script writers, just great overall. I did feel really bad for Jae Min in the end. But he got what he deserved and justice was served.

I didn't enjoy this BL drama at all. The story line was very bland, no character development at all , poor acting by almost all actors, extremely slow script. This is the only BL I was extremely bored in. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody.

One of the best shows I've seen in Kdramas. The story of resilience, patience, humility, willingness to learn, friendship, trust, and so much more put into a nice little revenge story. I didn't love the chemistry between Yi Seo and Saeroyi, and I feel it is absurd had it been real life instead of reel. But that's just my opinion. Great acting by Park Seo Joon, as always.
