I would leave 0 stars if i could, not only because of the game’s many bugs and UI, but also about the customer service. Part 1: bugs This game has so many bugs i don’t understand. For starters, when we opened the game, the dances looked corrupted for 10 minutes with random flashing lights. We turned the game off because of the unplayability but the next day the entire scoring system wouldn’t work. It didn’t even give me “X” scoring. Just dance 2019 worked just fine, so it wasn’t my joycons that were wrong. Part 2: UI The UI is just overwhelming. Long gone were the days of a main body of song selection. Now there’s thumbnails with fonts, netflixy catagories when i’m on the “choose your song” section, and it’s hard to look at in general. The navy blue white space doesn’t clash well with the bright green and ornate encanto thumb, but don’t forget the dynamite one! Also look! Doja Cat’s there! It should’ve been simpler with easy colouring. Finally, customer service. I hated the service here mainly because they never got back to me. They sent a message saying there would be delays in replies, which i assumed would be a week. I left a detailed explanation about my game’s scoring bug, and what i suspected it was along with all of my attempts of working around it. More than one month of waiting and they still haven’t helped me. This isnt all thats wrong with this game, there’s the many complicated customization options, and the dances are all like music videos, making them harder to follow. Do not buy this game.
