I just loved the way they portrayed Elvis in this film... it showed the scary side of Hollywood amd the glamor. It gave the audience an understanding why Elvis did what he did in all these political and racial times... I went with my grandmother who is 71 and her 3 other sisters. All who grew up loving Elvis and his rebel side... just 1 out of 4 sisters didn't care for the movie. She said it was too cartoony whatever that means. Lol but anyway... I thought it was all fabulous.. I ended up hating Tom Hanks character for the first time he played a bad guy that I remember... that man was a selfish man... amd they have many agents who does this to celebrities. Makes u think about all the stars... they are basically slaves to persuade the people to be a certain way... and Elvis rebelled because he wasn't like that. When I watched this show its like I learned about Elvis in a whole new light. He sure did love his mama and family and friends. Great movie. I actually cried knowing what was going to happen.
