I don't care how old a performance is, I love what I love! And I love(d) In The Heights I smiled and cried every time, this was my travel movie. It was my travel movie ~😔 every time!!! It's true what people say....ignorance is bliss, if it was never pointed out to me how in my favorite scene (Carnaval del Barrio) they failed to represented Haiti 🇭🇹 ... I may have continued to claim this as one of my favorite films I tried to justify Latino vs. Caribbean...but clear as day Jamaican 🇯🇲 and Barbados 🇧🇧 heritage were represented. I Googled why them and not us...??? Why would an extremely well acclaimed writer from PR not want to be associated with the first black independent republic.... I received no clear response 😕 ????????? BUT BECAUSE I STILL RESPECT MR. MANUEL'S WRITING AND HIS WORK.....I would ask if he can you please recommend something else I can watch during a flight ✈️ other than In The Heights
