This show was/is one of the best things that ever happened to me, mainly because it has awesome LGBTQ+ representation, as well as meaningful lessons. It showed a lot of development from the first season to the fifth, as well as Steven Universe Future. I understand how many people think that the character development was lost on Lapis Lazuli, but it wasn't. It represented how PTSD actually works. People were upset when "Alone at sea" showed how Lapis was also the abuser, but the way I see it, the episode showed how people in toxic relationships blame each other and themselves for the faults and failures. This show helped me and others. If you're thinking of watching any cartoon show, please, consider watching this one. While the first season has a few filler episodes, I couldn't help but get attached to this show. There are many emotional scenes, too.
