So just wanted to point out that I’ve watched countless hours and videos about lore and have watched every single episode about gameplay to slow it down and truly understand the game and its background. The movie did a good job not to over complicate things with the storyline but actually made it kinda simple in a way. My girlfriend who has not played the games or watched the lore videos had no clue about what was going on but the story of this movie actually made it simple for her to follow along. So now after watching it she’s gonna actually watched some videos about the main characters and their gameplay backgrounds. I did wish that producers and directors would give us the jump scares that we all know from the games but it was kinda slow. I don’t think the PG-13 helped it but it was still good at the same time. I know they wanted to make it so anyone could watch it. There was some gore too but I just hope in the next movie is Rated R so they could give us the true scare factor. Overall 9/10 movie would recommend to watch
