I thought it was an interesting idea (to me anyway) of pre destination, it has one scene where his wife dies in a hotel fire, while he is sweeping the lawn, and mentions if he’d had the information contained within the numbers, she’d be alive, but if you go along with the ‘code’ he couldn’t have, it was already pre planed?
