The narration added to the experience and enjoyment of the story. Dialogue is believeable and clever and the ending presented so well. A good contemporary read that is well written. Enjoyed the main characters as well as the supporting characters.

My first thought was it didn't seem like a book I'd enjoy but I was surprised to find I was wrong. I don't know that I would have enjoyed it as much if I read it as the audio has a fabulous narrator who makes the story come to life. It was fun to see the main character, Lillian, find something that made her life meaningful and something she was so good at in her own quirky way. I'd like a Lillian in my group of friends. I'm giving it a 5 star rating for its originality and the author's ability to make me believe the idea of kids starting on fire when stressed, didn't seem particularly odd. A fun read.
