The cooks themselves are the best part. The judges..not so much. Judging seems opaque - to say the least. Example - on the 7/29 show, 'Nikki' wins the first round, then sinks to the bottom in the second round and is cut, while Dan does poorly in both rounds, and stays. Seems first round performance means nothing.. Watch it for the cooks. While suffering through the judges. 8/5 - another major meddling by the 'judges'. Add an egg to Foos stuff? He does - and comes out on top? If this show has a second season, they need to replace ALL the 'activist' judges. With judges whe keep their mouths shut during the competition
